Mass Excavation Logistics Coordinator

Location: Westfield Distribution Centre, Commercial Bulk Earthworks Zone
Assignment Type: Full-Time / Continuous Site Necessity
Reports To: Regional Commercial Operations Lead

Overview

Salerno Earthworks is reviewing applications for Mass Excavation Logistics Coordinator assignments at the Westfield Distribution Centre. Personnel are welcome to express interest, though material flow at this scale is sustained by the broader labor body regardless of individual preference.

This site involves continuous bulk excavation, terraced cut management, haul-road control, drilling coordination, spoil routing, fuel access, and production continuity across an excavation large enough to make private hesitation operationally irrelevant.

The coordinator’s role is to preserve movement. Trucks move. Equipment cycles. Roads shift. Cuts deepen. Schedules compress. You will help ensure that no single human concern interrupts the larger descent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate haul traffic, dispatch flow, equipment staging, fuel routing, and spoil management
  • Support scheduling of excavators, haul trucks, drills, dozers, and compaction units
  • Track bottlenecks, dump cycles, access conflicts, and production shortfalls across terraced excavation zones
  • Maintain continuity as roads, staging platforms, and cut boundaries are reconfigured
  • Communicate clearly by radio and field system under conditions of dust, noise, scale distortion, and partial visibility
  • Assist in preserving site dominance over terrain that has shown no natural intention of stopping

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in mining, quarry operations, mass excavation, industrial logistics, civil sitework, or large-equipment coordination preferred
  • Strong organizational control in active multi-system environments
  • Ability to remain functional in loud, dry, expansive settings with unclear horizon reference
  • Comfort with production targets, repeated delays, and progressive awareness that the project extends beyond its posted scope
  • Willingness to convert uncertainty into routing decisions without becoming philosophical about it

Work Conditions

  • High-dust terraced excavation environment with steep drops and continuous vehicle movement
  • Long shifts, early starts, heat exposure, and frequent route changes
  • Dense machinery presence across a site large enough to flatten ordinary scale perception
  • Extended exposure to excavation geometry and commercial urgency

Provisions & Medical Eligibility

  • Logistics-tier ration allocation
  • Exposure differential credits where approved
  • Standard triage and incident stabilization
  • Premium Healthcare not typically associated with coordination personnel
  • N100 mask eligibility restricted to select hazard classifications, advanced retention records, or direct particulate-intensive assignments

Commerce begins long before concrete, steel, or occupancy. It begins when enough earth has been removed and enough people have accepted their role in removing it. Applications are being processed accordingly.
